Kaden's Adventures
Kaden has become quite the travelor. I wish I had time to keep things up to speed with all the things he has been doing. Some of the places he has gone with his family include Las Vegas, New Jersey, California and Michigan. Here you can see Kaden with his family in Washington DC on a beautiful winter evening. The Shaw family spent their Christmas in New Jersey and it was a very enjoyable one. Kaden wasn't too spoiled with gifts fortunately.

Kaden's Blessing
Kaden received a blessing over the Thanksgiving holiday with family in California. His name was added to the church records as Kaden Q(just the letter and without a period) Shaw. He will not officially become a member of the church of Jesus Christ until he reaches his eighth birthday and decides for himself that he would like to be. This was a special blessing for him to allow him special blessings in this life that will give him the strength to choose the right in an ever changing world and to help others along the way.
Our Lives So Far
Rachael and I are still living in Orem Utah. I'm searching for jobs primarily in northern California as well as here in Utah, so we might end up staying here longer or moving out shortly--it's fun to be adventurous. I want to get an MBA and I would like to take a program that allows me to work because experience is just as important as education in my field. Rachael is interested in returning to school sometime as well and hopefully she won't have to wait too long because I have a feeling we will have more than one child and perhaps several more in the near future. She is keeping very busy though at church. She is in the Relief Society presidency which requires much of her time and energy. The reason we are thinking of going to California is because she would like to be with family while I will be attending school. She has family here as well and if I find a good enough job here we will likely stay and go to school here. Not knowing exactly what we are doing can seem a bit scary but it's amazing how if you put your trust in the Lord He makes everything all right.



Happy Anniversary Shaws!
Rachael and I went to Vichy Springs in California for our anniversary. We've been married for a whopping two years and it has been great so far. To be continued on how things go from here...
